Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams retain top spots
Both of them hold top position with huge leads over their nearest rivals
Berlin: Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has retained his World No.1 status in the men’s tennis rankings, going into the first clay-court Masters of the season in Monte Carlo. He is followed Serb Novak Djokovic.
According to Sport24, Nadal has 13,730 points to Djokovic’s 11,680. Swedis tennis star and this year’s Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka is ranked third on 5,760. On the women’s side, American star Serena Williams continues to maintain a huge lead over China’s Li Na in the latest rankings issued by the WTA on Monday.
According to Sport24, Williams has 12,375 points to Li Na’s 7585. Agnieszka Radwanska remains third on 5980 points.
