Priya and Vikram shot song in a thick jungle

Chennai: The film, Ivan Vera Mathiri, projected Vikram Prabhu as an action hero. He is now back in a racy thriller, Arima Nambi, which is all set for release.

The audio and the trailer of the film were released recently, and it has had a good response on the social networking sites. Percussionist Sivamani debuts as music composer in the film. One of the songs, Idhayam, was shot in Thailand, in natural light.

“We shot the entire song in daylight, and the visuals have come out really well. We travelled 5 km into the north of Bangkok and shot it in a thick jungle. It was an amazing experience for the entire crew of the film,” says Vikram Prabhu.

He also added that Arima Nambi is way different from his previous film, though it appears to be an action film. “From my hairstyle to the looks, you will definitely see a completely new Vikram Prabhu on screen.

It’s an action thriller, which is something new for the audience. The script will definitely interest all the youngsters out there. My previous film was also an action one, but Arima Nambi is script-based action.

As for working with Priya Anand, he says, “Priya is someone who always makes us smile. A woman who is a bundle of energy. She is one of the finest actors I have seen. She creates a positive vibe on the sets, and we all get along well.”

The film is directed by Anand Shankar and cinematography is by R.D Rajesekhar.

Vikram Prabhu is now shooting for his next film, Sigaram Thodu, which is directed by Gaurav Narayanan and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. Monal Gajjar, a debutant, plays the female lead in the film.
