John gets off Humara Bajaj

The film was not happening and John confirmed that he was forced to shelve the film

Mumbai: The actor-turned-producer’s film Humara Bajaj was in the news for its title and the controversy over its copyright. But looks like John Abraham has taken the final decision to not go ahead with the film.

Recently, John confirmed that he was forced to shelve the film. “The film is not happening. It was only sensible to not make it at this point. We’re working on a completely new subject,” revealed John.

As a filmmaker John has always been associated with quality cinema. Be it Vicky Donor or Madras Cafe, John has always maintained that he’ll make films on subjects that inspire him and also have a social message.

According to sources close to John, director Shoojit Sircar has already worked on a fresh subject that’ll replace Humara Bajaj. “The script of the film is not ready yet. But we’ll soon make an official announcement about our new film,” said the source.
