Hyderabad: Samantha’s kitty is full with four films in Tamil and Telugu, including Anjaan with Suriya and Kaththi with Vijay. Now, the buzz is that Sam has been roped in by Vijay Milton, the cinematographer- turned-filmmaker, for his upcoming movie which is yet to be titled. Samantha will be romancing Vikram in the movie. A.R. Murugadoss will be producing it under his home banner.
After eyeing some of the biggies, Milton felt Samantha would fit the role and that Vikram and Sam would make a fresh pair.
Another reason attributed to bringing Sam on board was that the actress is presently acting in ARM’s Kaththi. Hence, it became easier for the Ghajini filmmaker to bag her for his next as well.
Sources say that the film will go on the floors in June, and by that time, Samantha will complete her earlier commitments. Vikram wrapped up his magnum opus, Ai, with Shankar recently.
The actress who was once considered jinxed in the Tamil industry is apparently the most sought-after girl now.
