Police trace man who posted malicious remarks against Aamir Khan on social media

The accused had posted such messages on a personal blog and other networking sites
Mumbai: The police have successfuly traced a man from Kozhikode, Kerala, who was allegedly posting malicious remarks about Bollywood actor Amir Khan on Social media sites.
The alleged accused is said to be a former government officer, Absolute India reported. The police have not made an arrest yet, but they will interrogate him.
It was previously reported that the actor registered a complaint with Mumbai Crime Branch in March after someone posted remarks on social media sites stating that Aamir Khan's show' Satyamev Jayate', has been collecting donations through wrongful means. The actor had spoken to the Commissioner of Police, Rakesh Maria, and on the orders of Sadanand Date, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), cyber cell managed to trace the location of the accused a 50-year-old from Kerala.
The accused had posted such messages on a personal blog as well as other networking sites like Facebook and Whatsapp. He wasn't aware of the consequences of the message he had posted.
A few weeks ago Aamir Khan brought it to public notice, that his name and show was doing rounds on the internet in a detrimental way. The star was being blamed for asking donatios to various chariatable trusts that are promoted on the TV show. However Aamir refuted the information.
The accused now wants to apologise to the star for his folly.
