Windows 9 may get the Start Menu back after all

Windows 9 concept points towards merging the Modern UI and the older Start Menu

Those craving for the Start Menu after Windows 8 did not feature it; there is possible good news up ahead. Microsoft could be possibly be bring back the Start Menu back to Windows 9 after all. Softpedia reports that Microsoft is tightlipped about the details, but the final confirmed news would only be next month at the BUILD 2014 developer conference. Microsoft has probably planned the public release of Windows 9 in April 2015.

The photo above is a concept made by Lodmot, which he thinks should be the Start Menu on Windows 9. This could turn the new OS platform into a much easier and friendlier working environment that could appeal to those migrating from Windows 7 in the future.

Unfortunately, Microsoft is very unlikely to implement the same, but we cannot be sure for now and will have to wait until the details trickle out the company itself or at least until the beta launch of Widows 9.
