Bharatiya Janata Party for more Andhra Pradesh districts

BJP’s said that more diversification of administration is needed

Visakhapatnam: Seemandhra region fought for Samaikyandhra until recently, but the BJP hinted at some more bifurcations in the residuary Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the party's poll campaign meet on Tuesday, BJP’s state president Kambhampati Haribabu said that more diversification of administration is needed and they would consider reorganising the district set up in the state if they come to power.

“Decentralisation is highly essential for progress. The party believes in the principle and will divide the districts accordingly in the state. We have 25 parliament seats and only 13 districts. Many other states in the country have more districts corresponding to the number of parliament seats for administrative convenience. But, unfortunately, no other party has thought of this in Andhra Pradesh,” Mr Haribabu said.

Dr Haribabu said the state wing of the party has been campaigning for "Modi for PM and BJP for State".
