In the news recently for inking Sushmita Sen’s seventh tattoo, celebrity tattoo artist Sameer Patange is back in Hyderabad to add a few more names to his list of clients.
While seven is not a small number when it comes to tattoos, Sameer says that he is ready to ink people as long as they have space left.
“In Sushmita’s case, this was her seventh tattoo and she has so much skin left to get inked. Till she is covered all over, I will continue to ink her if she is willing,” says Sameer.
Sameer has worked on both Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan while they were married.
Commenting on the same, Sameer says, “Hrithik and Sussanne have been my clients and recently, after their split, Sussanne got her tattoo re-worked from somewhere else. My sources told me that she has got the entire thing coloured black. But Hrithik hasn’t done anything yet.”
“The world is indeed filled with crazy people,” Sameer says, talking about Miley Cyrus’ lip tattoo and about people getting inked on their eyes.
“Lips are still fine, but one shouldn’t risk getting a tattoo on the eye. If something goes wrong, they might lose their eye-sight for life.”
“Private parts are not something that everyone should fancy. They are very difficult to work on from an artist’s point of view; even the pigments and colours do not really stick well on those parts. For first timers, I suggest they get the tattoo in places that are the least painful, arms, calf and back,” adds Sameer.
