HYDERABAD: Choreographer Vishnudeva confirmed that the film Gabbar will have an item number. While Kareena Kapoor Khan is the best guess we have, the team has not yet confirmed the same. Vishnudeva said, “Yes! Gabbar is being shot at Pune at blitzkrieg speed. I have to choreograph an item number. The date has not been declared yet. Probably it will happen by the end of March.”
But, we could not get him to confirm Kareena’s name. The choreographer was too busy to answer that one, it seems.
Gabbar is being directed by Krish and is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is a remake of a Tamil film Ramana made by A.R. Murugadoss. It was remade in Telugu as Tagore with Chiranjeevi in the lead and in Kannada as Vishnu Sena with Vishnuvardhan in the lead role.
Our source giving us a sneak peek says, “Akshay and Shruti Haasan make a good pair. Kareena Kapoor Khan will be joining the cast in Pune by the end of this month. Choreographer Vishnudeva has become the favourite of Akki after making him dance to his tunes in Rowdy Rathore. Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood also play an important role in the film.”
