Now, bottled 'fresh air' to provide respite to people in smog-ridden cities of China

A mountainous county in China has begun selling tinned 'fresh air' to aid residents of the cities

London: Residents of smog-filled cities in China will soon be breathing fresh air from country side. A mountainous county in the Chinese countryside has begun selling tinned 'fresh air' to aid residents of the cities, who are just sick of breathing polluted air in cities, Daily Star reported.

Tourism and environmental staff are busy collecting air from the Laojun Mountain in the country’s central Henan Province. Duan Junwei, deputy director of China’s Tourism Bureau, said that first batch of tinned forest air would be handed out to urban citizens for free.

One Beijing resident said that when he goes outside and walks for about 20 minutes his throat hurts and he feels dizzy. Air quality in China’s cities is apparently poor and is regularly above the World Health Organisation’s daily recommendations.
