After mentoring Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra, filmmaker Aditya Chopra has now placed his bets on Huma Qureshi. The actress has signed a three film contract with Yash Raj Films, but has been asked to remain tight lipped about the deal. Reason? Aditya plans to make a grand announcement himself, given that the project on hand is a rather huge one.
“YRF has an eye for talent. Aditya has seen a few of Huma’s films and is all praise for her,” says our source. From what we hear, Huma’s first YRF flick will be a quirky rom-com and the official announcement will be made soon. According to our sources, even Karan Johar was floored by Huma’s performance in Ek Thi Daayan and rates the actress highly. Seems like a good year for Huma, doesn’t it?
