Bengaluru:The condition of Housing Minister Ambareesh was stable, but he continued to be on ventilator on Sunday.
The actor-turned-politician was rushed to hospital after he complained of breathlessness on Friday.
“All his vital organs are functioning, but he is on ventilator. We will decide whether to remove the ventilator on Monday,” Dr K.S. Sathish of Vikram Hospital said.
Mr Ambareesh’s wife Sumalatha requested her husband’s fans and the public to give the family privacy and to stop spreading rumours about his health. She said, “He is being taken care of by a team of competent doctors. I know his fans love him, but at this time of crisis, we need some privacy.” Ambareesh’s son Abhishek Gowda is reportedly on his way from London.
