Gang stabs rowdy to death in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Abdul Karim Khan, 33, a history-sheeter from Dabeerpura, was murdered by a gang in the wee hours of Monday.

The gang, which came on bikes, intercepted him at Dabeerpura crossroads and stabbed him to death. Karim died on the spot.

Abdul Karim Khan was one of the accused in the murder of Shakir, a history- sheeter, in 2011. Cops suspect he was attacked by the rival group.

On Wednesday at around 1.30 am, while Abdul Karim was coming towards Osmanpura, he was stopped by the gang which came on three bikes.

Karim, who sensed danger, abandoned his bike and tried to flee. When he reached the incense factory at Dabeerpura, the group stabbed him.

Forensic experts from the Osmania GH, who conducted the autopsy said that Karim was stabbed about 20 times.

A murder case was registered by the Dabeerpura police. The cops are yet to arrest the killers. “We have some clues, but no one has been taken into custody. The victim’s family has named nobody as suspects,” said ACP S. Gangadhar.

Meanwhile, sources said, that Karim had a gang in the area. After the attack, the killers raised slogans supporting Shakir and fled the spot.
