Anushka Sharma may have a great line-up of releases this year, but they come with a pinch of predicament. Two of her big films, 'P.K.' and 'Bombay Velvet' may be slated for release on the same day. “Both the films are very close to her. Not only has she worked with two big stars (Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor) but also with big directors — Rajkumar Hirani and Anurag Kashyap in 'P.K.' and 'Bombay Velvet' respectively. It’s going to be tough to pick sides during the release,” says a source.
Earlier on, she was looking at a much-balanced year, with 'P.K.' arriving in June, 'NH 10' in September and then Bombay Velvet in December. However a change in P.K.’s dates means that she would have a cluttered year-end.
Meanwhile, 'NH 10' is in a bit of an awkward situation too. Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Roy' is slated for arrival on the same day as NH 10 and that for Anushka, would mean taking on her 'Bombay Velvet' co-star Ranbir. It is going to be quite interesting to see how she manages her films now, considering the fact that she turns producer with 'NH 10' and has better control over the affairs,” points out a trade insider.
