Security heightened for twin festivals in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Security has been beefed up in Hyderabad as the city gears up for Sankranthi and Milad-un-Nabi, on Tuesday. Police are also planning to deploy additional forces in the following three days to avoid any possible conflicts. RAF, BSF forces were seen patrolling the city ahead of the festivals.

Police commissioner Anurag Sharma has held meetings with religious leaders in connection with the Milad rallies and has assured that all precautions will be taken to ensure there are no disruptions.
