Imman composes Bihari song for 'Ennathaan Pesuvadho'

Ravi, a former associate of National Award winning filmmaker Bala, is making a movie, titled 'Ennathaan Pesuvadho' (EP) which is based on shocking real life incidents taking place in Bihar. After reading a newspaper report on how girl children are being sold in a village in Muzaffarpur district in Bihar due to poverty and how the middlemen who buy them later push them into the flesh trade, Ravi decided to direct a movie on the appalling and controversial practice.
Apparently, he had travelled to the village and stayed there for two months to get first-hand information and do research before writing his script. Daksha Nagarkar, a model and former Miss Hyderabad, plays the lead. The film is about how she escapes from the pimps and takes asylum in Tamil Nadu. “We have used the people of that particular village and real life brokers in the film. Imman’s music is the backbone of EP. He has also composed a Bihari song for the movie. The censors have appreciated the movie for its content and given it a U Certification.” Writer S.Ramakrishnan has been roped in for the dialogues.
