Starlet Sofia Hayat is shocked how her Bigg Boss co-contestant Armaan Kohli got bail so quickly.
“At a time when India is in the news worldwide for assault against women, how could he walk free so quickly? The issue has not been dealt with seriously. The cops had called him because they had the video footage proving the assault,” says the Indian-British model and singer who had slapped a case of physical assault on Kohli recently.
“When Kushal (Tandon) tried hitting Andy, Bigg Boss immediately called in security and threw Kushal out. I felt secure then. But there was no reaction from Bigg Boss when Armaan hit me with a mop; I was pained. It was in my contract that there would be no violence or personal attack during the show,” she says.
Sofia’s other complaint is that host Salman Khan has not taken interest in the matter. “Salman hasn’t said a word yet and I am not really surprised. It’s evident that he is biased towards Armaan and Tanisha. There is also an article on how Salman consoled Armaan after his arrest,” said Sofia, who is keeping a track of every single Tweet that is coming her way.
“Armaan is a wild man. He was violent on a show that is telecast all across. But I am also thankful to Armaan for bringing out the strong side of me. I never knew I could push a man.”
