Lambasingi records 2º c

Visakhapatnam: Lambasingi in Chinta-palli mandal recorded the lowest temperature of 2ºC on Sunday. Chintapalli, the mandal headquarters, registered 5ºC.

At Lambasingi and nearby Tajangi located around 1,000 metres above the sea level, it is cold throughout the year, except during summer.

Daybreak is at around 11 am. Temperature never rises above 10ºC. and in winter it falls even to zero degrees. Though the rest of the state feels summer, Lambasingi will be very cool. 1 â?"2 deg of lowest temperature is sometimes recorded in winter.

Travellers who pass through the Ghat road are invited with cool weather. People dressed in sweaters and monkey caps also make bonfires to keep themselves warm.
