Upbeat Tamil Nadu face Railways

Tamil Nadu would look to continue their momentum when they take on Railways in the Group ‘B’ Ranji Trophy contest at New Delhi.

Chennai: Hot on the heels of scoring their first outright victory of the season, Tamil Nadu would look to continue their momentum when they take on Railways in the Group ‘B’ Ranji Trophy contest at New Delhi from Saturday. S. Badrinath, who missed the Baroda match due to a bout of fever, is set to return to playing XI.

Either R. Prasanna or B. Indrajith would make way for the TN veteran. R. Malolan, who played a steller role in TN's nine-wicket win with a sixwicket haul in the second innings, is set to be retained alongwith left-arm spinner Aushik Srinivas though the chilly conditions likely to favour the seamers.

Railways, who are No.2 in Group B with 20 points, took the first innings lead against Bengal in their last match.
