Together, they credited ripples with the dramedy 'Jolly LLB'. Now Arshad Warsi and filmmaker Subhash Kapoor are all set to reunite with a drama-action fare.
“For Subhash, it was a huge high when Vidhu Vinod Chopra signed him to direct the third film of the 'Munna Bhai' series. However, it was only practical for him to work on other films in the interim period. Once he closed on this hard-hitting subject, his choice of a leading man was Arshad Warsi.”
For Arshad, too, his first and only undisputed solo hit was 'Jolly LLB'. So when Subhash approached him with the new film, he was instantly on board.
“It’s going to be a two-hero project. And ironically, the second hero will play the funny guy while Arshad will take on a serious avatar.”
The film is slated to go on floors in February next year.
