Kiran to visit Narpala on November 24

Sailajanath asked the district officials to make the programme a success.

Anantapur: Primary education minister Sake Sailajanath on Wednesday said that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will take part in Rachchabanda programme at Narpala mandal headquarters in Singanmala Assembly segment in the district on November 24 instead of November 22 following a meeting with central drought assessment teams in Hyderabad.

Reviewing over the arrangements of Chief Minister’s visit at Narpala mandal headquarters in Singanmala Assembly segment with district officials, Sailajanath called on the district authorities to make success the Rachchabanda programmme.

The primary education minister has been extending support to the Chief Minister for his serious concern on Samaikyandhra demand and for making concerted efforts towards opposing the state division process.

The minister was also acting as Seemandhra Forum convener raising voice demanding the Centre to reverse its decision on state division, though several leaders from the region were in favour of Rayala-Telangana.

Sailajantah, who hails from Singanamala Assembly segment wanted the programme should be held in a peaceful manner and incident-free. The Rachchabanda programme is scheduled to be held at Narpala, about 20 kms away from Anantapur.

Referring to sanctioning of ration cards, pensions, houses and other schemes in all 218 villages of Singanamala segment, he said that all benefits would be distributed to genuine beneficiaries during the Chief Minister’s meeting.

Sailajanath asked the collector D.S. Lokesh Kumar to distribute tokens for all beneficiaries at their doorstep making convenient to take part in Chief Minister’s meeting.

Meanwhile, Sailajanath had also directed the district officials to depute officials at gram panchayat level to avoid confusion during the Rachchabanda programme.

He also asked the authorities to prepare proposals towards development of Narpala mandal. In addition, state-level science fair would be held for three days from December 7 to 9 at Narpala.
He asked the district education officials to make arrangements in this regard.

Anantapur market yard chairman Y. Narayana Reddy, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Vijayendira, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dayananda Reddy and others participated.
