The east zone task force and Amberpet police on Saturday arrested Kurakula Rohit, 21, an autorickshaw driver, and Golusula Alikesh, both from Siddipet district, for snatching chains and recovered 29.7 grams of gold and a bike, all worth Rs 22 lakh. They were Class 9 dropouts and were suspected in three cases in Rajendranagar and Ameerpet, They were arrested in Mailardevpally.
