HYDERABAD: Malakpet inspector K. Narasimha has been suspended for alleged negligence in the discharge of his duties. Hyderabad police commissioner V.C. Sajjanar issued immediate suspension orders following an internal inquiry. The action reinforces the department’s stance that negligence and irresponsibility in policing will not be tolerated, he said.

It is reported that the police higher officials, who took serious note of the shortcomings in official duties and failure to properly discharge their responsibilities, took this decision after a departmental inquiry.
