Telangana Govt Approves Rs 13.5 Cr Water, Sewerage Works for TIMS Hospitals

Hyderabad: The state government has approved the HMWS&SB tender process for water supply and sewerage infrastructure works worth Rs 13.5 crore for the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Tims) hospitals at Alwal, Sanathnagar and L.B. Nagar.
The decision was taken to ensure that the works are completed in time, as the hospitals are expected to become operational soon. Officials said initiating the tender process after receipt of connection charges from the health department could have delayed execution. The government order directed HMWS&SB to take necessary steps to complete the works, ensuring that water supply and sewerage connections are ready when the hospitals begin functioning.
