KARIMNAGAR: Food safety department officials discarded 600 spoiled ice creams at Karimnagar Dairy in Jagtial on Thursday.
Food safety inspector R. Anusha and her team conducted checks at the dairy and found ice creams stored in a refrigerator had melted and were emitting a foul smell.
Although the dairy management assured officials that the damaged ice creams would be returned, the officials discarded all 600, anticipating that they could otherwise be sold.
