Endowments minister Konda Surekha called on AICC state incharge Meenakshi Natarajan on Tuesday to formally lodge a complaint regarding the internal party conflicts and voiced strong objections against Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiam Srihari’s alleged interference in her department’s affairs.

The minister alleged that the MLA was acting in a manner that hurt her self-respect and was deliberately dragging her into controversies. She expressed strong objection to Srihari conducting reviews related to the endowments department that she heads, without informing her.. This ran counter to administrative norms, Surekha contended.

After patiently listening to Surekha's concerns, Natarajan reportedly advised her not to dwell on minor issues and urged all leaders to exercise restraint. Natarajan suggested focusing on strengthening the Congress in Telangana and prioritising public issues over personal differences. She also advised them to concentrate on enhancing the reputation of both the party and the government.

Earlier, Surekha had taken the issue to the notice of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud.
