Hyderabad DEO Releases Redrawn Assembly Constituency Correlation Maps to Assist Voters
Hyderabad DEO R.V. Karnan releases constituency correlation maps for voters ahead of the SIR process.
To help voters, political parties and other stakeholders during SIR, Hyderabad district election officer R.V. Karnan on Tuesday released the correlation of the present Assembly constituencies with those in 2002. The correlation maps all 15 Assembly constituencies in the district and shows how polling stations from the earlier constituencies have been redistributed among the current assembly segment following delimitation.
The Malakpet constituency has 170 polling stations from Malakpet and 22 from Yakutpura, Amberpet has 173 polling stations from Himayatnagar, Khairtabad constituency now has 43 polling stations from Himayatnagar, 131 from Khairatabad and two from Asif Nagar.
The Jubilee Hills seat has 157 polling stations from the former Khairtabad constituency, while Sanathnagar has 168 polling stations from Sanathnagar and 51 from Secunderabad. In Nampally 135 polling stations merged from Asifnagar and 93 from Karwan.
The present Karwan constituency has all 198 polling stations from the former Karwan constituency. Goshamahal has 63 polling stations from Asif Nagar, 118 from Maharajgunj and 68 from Karwan.
Charminar has 41 polling stations from Yakutpura, 59 from Chandrayangutta and 107 from Charminar. The Chandrayangutta constituency has seven polling stations from Yakutpura and 196 from Chandrayangutta. Yakutpura has 140 polling stations from Yakutpura and 114 from Chandrayangutta.
Bahadurpura has 13 polling stations from Chandrayangutta and 155 from Charminar. Secunderabad has 14 polling stations from Musheerabad and 177 from Secunderabad. While the Secunderabad Cantonment has 18 polling stations each from Sanathnagar and Secunderabad and 157 from Secunderabad cantonment.
