TTD Staffer Suspended for Collecting Money from Devotees

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has suspended a staff member for alleged irregularities involving the collection of money from devotees for various sevas.

The accused, identified as Giri, was working as an assistant at the Kurukshetra temple under TTD’s jurisdiction. He is alleged to have collected money from devotees for services such as Annadanam, Kalyanotsavam, and Vahana Seva.

TTD officials initiated action following complaints, and a detailed inquiry into the matter is currently underway.
