TIRUPATI: Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy will launch a series of direct interactions with young people in the constituency under the ‘Mata-Manti’ programme on Tuesday, with plans to meet around 20,000 Gen Z youth through 51 sessions.

The programme will be launched at Genex College in Parthasarathi Nagar. Kotamreddy said the sessions would provide students and other young people an opportunity to share their opinions, aspirations, concerns and suggestions directly with him.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, he said the interactions would also cover development works taken up in the Nellore Rural Assembly constituency and welfare and development programmes of the Centre and Andhra Pradesh governments.

He said discussions would include employment opportunities and the role of young people in public life. The MLA said he would explain the initiatives of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government headed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and the initiatives associated with Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and minister N. Lokesh.

Kotamreddy said the programme would not be a one-way interaction and participants would be free to question him and offer criticism. “Suggestions, advice and constructive criticism are all welcome", he said.

He said the meetings would be informal and accessible, while youth who were not comfortable speaking during the sessions could share their concerns and ideas with him separately through telephone and email.
