Visakhapatnam: Adani Gangavaram Port has been recognised for its environmental stewardship, winning the Environmental Excellence Award – Platinum Category from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) at the 19th Environment Partnership Summit and Excellence Awards held in Kolkata.
The port was honoured for adopting innovative green practices, energy-efficient technologies and community-driven environmental programmes aimed at minimising ecological impact and promoting sustainable growth.
Over the past three years, Adani Gangavaram Port Ltd (AGPL) has received six national awards for environmental excellence, reinforcing its standing as a leading contributor to sustainable operations in the maritime sector.
