Defence and Home Ministers join PM in reviewing security; India rejects Trump’s claim of brokering peace with Pakistan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday, the first since the pause in hostilities between India and Pakistan.He is joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah in the meeting that is assessing the latest security situation.
The prime minister will also chair the meeting of the Union Cabinet after the Cabinet Committee on Security meet. US President Donald Trump's claim of mediation between India and Pakistan in bringing about a halt in hostilities, has been rejected by India. Despite India's rebuttal, Trump again claimed that his government "brokered a historic ceasefire" between the two countries.

Entities from across the border are attempting to launch an unconventional cyber warfare by targeting government websites amid the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan, Maharashtra Cyber officials said on Saturday.

Jammu: 8 BSF troops injured in Pak shelling
Eight Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have been injured in Pakistani shelling along the international border (IB) in Jammu on Saturday, officials said.The incident took place in the R S Pura sector, they said.

Delhi CM directs top officials to ensure emergency preparedness
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday issued instructions to top officials of her government to ensure preparedness to handle emergency situations entailing need of shelters, blackouts, stocking hospitals with supplies amid an ongoing military conflict between India and Pakistan.
Gupta chaired a high-level meeting with heads of different departments at Delhi Secretariat, took stock of the preparations and issued directions. She also held a meeting with ministers of her Cabinet, officials said.

Pak Kamikaze drones neutralised along IB in Amritsar: Defence sources
Indian Army's Air Defence units early Saturday morning shot down multiple Kamikaze drones launched by Pakistan after they crossed the International Border in Punjab's Amritsar, defence sources said.
The drones, identified as Byker YIHA III models, were launched around 5 am and were headed toward densely populated civilian areas, they said.

Indo-Pak conflict: Residents advised to stay indoors in Gujarat's Kutch
The administration in Gujarat's Kutch issued an advisory on Saturday asking citizens to stay indoors and not step out unnecessarily in view of the military standoff between India and Pakistan.

J-K CM announces ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for kin of Pak shelling victims
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in Pakistani shelling in the Union Territory.
An additional district development commissioner and 19 villagers were killed in Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu and Baramulla sectors in the past four days after Indian armed forces struck nine terrorist infrastructure targets across the border on May 7 in retaliation to last month's Pahalgam terror attack.

Identity of five terrorists killed in Indian strikes 'established': Sources
At least five hardcore terrorists affiliated to banned terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have been identified as among those killed in the Indian strikes in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor on May 7, sources said on Saturday.
One of them was Mudassar Khadian Khas alias Mudassar alias Abu Jundal of LeT, they said, adding that he was in charge of Markaz Taiba in Muridke.
