Defence and Home Ministers join PM in reviewing security; India rejects Trump’s claim of brokering peace with Pakistan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday, the first since the pause in hostilities between India and Pakistan.He is joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah in the meeting that is assessing the latest security situation.
The prime minister will also chair the meeting of the Union Cabinet after the Cabinet Committee on Security meet. US President Donald Trump's claim of mediation between India and Pakistan in bringing about a halt in hostilities, has been rejected by India. Despite India's rebuttal, Trump again claimed that his government "brokered a historic ceasefire" between the two countries.

Kamikaze drones, armed UAVs: Aerial assets deployed by Pak to attack, breach Indian airspace
From swarm drones, including the kamikaze variant, to armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Pakistan deployed these aerial assets to breach India's airspace in a bid to cause destruction during the ongoing conflict but the Indian military has effectively repulsed the attacks, according to people in the know.
A kamikaze drone or suicide drone drops with or without a payload on a target and then engages in self-destruction, or it destroys itself after dropping ammunition, people familiar with the technology said.

Avoid rumours and stay calm: J&K govt to people amid Indo-Pak military conflict
Amid an ongoing military conflict between India and Pakistan, the Jammu and Kashmir government advised people on Saturday to avoid engaging with or spreading rumours, asserting that the cooperation of the public in maintaining peace and discipline during these times is crucial.
The government appreciates all its citizens for their continued resilience and trust in the face of recent developments, it said.
"Misinformation and unverified claims circulating on social media can cause unnecessary panic. The residents are strongly advised to avoid engaging with or spreading rumours. At least 60 domestic flights cancelled at Delhi airport on Saturday
At least 60 domestic flights to and from the Delhi airport were cancelled on Saturday, a source said.
Security measures have been beefed up, and at least 32 airports in northern and western parts of the country have been temporarily shut as the military conflict between India and Pakistan has intensified.
The source said 30 domestic departures and 30 arrivals were cancelled at the Delhi airport from 5.00 am to 2.30 pm.On Friday, 138 flights to and from the Delhi airport were cancelled by various airlines.
