The Income Tax Department reportedly conducted searches on September 28 at around 12 locations in Mumbai linked to Panorama Studios, headed by Kumar Mangat Pathak, producer Vashu Bhagnani and actor Rakul Preet Singh. The searches came days before the scheduled release of Drishyam: The Conclusion, starring Ajay Devgn, and are reportedly part of an investigation into suspected tax evasion, financial irregularities and overseas fund transfers linked to film projects.

According to reports, investigators are examining financial records and transactions involving funds allegedly routed overseas in connection with film production, shooting and distribution. The exact transactions under scrutiny and the findings of the searches have not been officially disclosed.
