Hyderabad: Royal Challengers Bengaluru were awarded a prize money of ₹20 crore after clinching the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 title with a five-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Led by Rajat Patidar, RCB successfully defended their title and secured their second consecutive IPL title, capping off another memorable campaign. Star batter Virat Kohli played a decisive role in the final, remaining unbeaten on 75 to guide his side to the target and seal the championship in style.
Runners-up Gujarat Titans, who also enjoyed a good season before falling short in the final, were awarded ₹12.5 crore.
