Yashoda Hospitals-HITEC City Completes 400 Kidney Transplants

Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals-Hitec City has performed more than 400 kidney transplant surgeries, including complex procedures involving ABO-incompatible transplants and elderly patients, according to a statement. The hospital organised a symposium on Saturday to discuss advances in kidney transplantation, post-transplant care, long-term graft health and organ donation. Union minister G. Kishan Reddy inaugurated the symposium and appreciated the hospital’s transplant programme. Yashoda Hospitals managing director Dr G. Surender Rao said the hospital had achieved better transplant outcomes through advanced technology, experienced specialists and comprehensive patient care.
