Yadagirigutta Temple EO Gets One-Year Extension
The government issued G.O. Rt. No. 896 to this effect. His re-employment will take effect from July 1, 2026, and continue for one year.

Nalgonda: The Telangana state government has extended the tenure of J. Bhavani Shanker as Executive Officer of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta for one year. The officer is said to retire on June 30.
The government issued G.O. Rt. No. 896 to this effect. His re-employment will take effect from July 1, 2026, and continue for one year. A 2019-batch IAS officer, Bhavani Shanker, was appointed Executive Officer of the temple on January 17, 2026.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy last month laid the foundation stone for the development works worth Rs.99.55 crore at the sacred shrine of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. A Veda Pathashala, Nitya Kalyana Mandapam, construction of a roof covering over the stairway from Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hilltop, and construction of steps towards the Mada Veedhis near the Rathashala are going to be built as part of the development works.
