KUDA Chief Seeks Faster Completion of Warangal Bus Station
Venkatram Reddy said the government was prioritising projects that had been delayed or progressed slowly and was committed to completing them at the earliest for public use.
Warangal: Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Enagala Venkatram Reddy on Friday directed officials and contractors to expedite the construction of the new Warangal bus station being built under the Smart City Mission at an estimated cost of Rs 75 crore.
Accompanied by KUDA officials and engineering staff, Venkatram Reddy inspected the project and reviewed its progress. The new bus station is being constructed at the site of the old Warangal bus stand to provide modern facilities for commuters.
Speaking on the occasion, the KUDA chairman said the government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was committed to the overall development of Warangal and its transformation into a modern urban centre.
He said the bus station would be equipped with all essential passenger amenities and directed officials to maintain quality standards while accelerating the works despite the ongoing monsoon.

He also stressed the need to complete bus bays, waiting halls and other passenger facilities on schedule, adding that improved transport infrastructure would support the government's vision of developing Warangal into a major IT and tourism hub.
