Warangal Collector Reviews Works On Integrated Schools, Stresses On Quality

Hanamkoda: Warangal district collector Dr Satya Sharada on Thursday inspected construction works of the Telangana Integrated Residential Schools project at Paidipally village in Warangal mandal.
The project is being developed by the state government to provide residential students with upgraded infrastructure and facilities in government institutions.
During the inspection, the collector reviewed the progress of works and assessed the quality of materials used. She held discussions with officials of the roads and buildings department, panchayat raj engineering department and the contractor on the grade of cement, quality of steel and durability of bricks.
She sought details on the extent of completion and timelines for the remaining works. She also reviewed issues arising from the monsoon, including delays due to rainfall, cement setting concerns and interruptions in earthwork.
The collector directed officials and the contractor to coordinate closely to ensure timely completion without compromising quality. She said the residential school complex should be built to prescribed standards and handed over as scheduled.
Additional collector (local bodies) Y.V. Ganesh, district educational officer Rangaiah Naidu, tahsildar Srikanth and officials were present.
