Varuna Yagam Performed At Kondagattu Temple For Rains

Karimnagar: In view of the deficit rainfall attributed to El Niño conditions, Varuna Japam and Varuna Yagam were performed at the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple on Tuesday, following instructions from the endowments department.

Temple priests conducted special rituals, including Vishesha Abhishekam to the presiding deity, besides performing Varuna Japam and Varuna Yagam amid Vedic chants, praying for good rainfall, the well-being of the people and a bountiful harvest for farmers.

Temple executive officer S. Anjana Reddy, priests and temple staff participated in the rituals.
