IPS Trainee Officer Uday Krishna Reddy Likely To Be Discharged From Hospital On Wednesday

Hyderabad: Investigation into the complaint by an IPS trainee officer against her colleague Uday Krishna Reddy has been handed over to a woman police officer inspector Jyotsna of the Charminar women police station considering the sensitive nature of the case. Meanwhile, the accused, whose condition has stabilised, is likely to be discharged from hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
A senior police official told Deccan Chronicle, "Considering the sensitivity of the allegations and the nature of the complaint, a woman police officer has been attached to the case to ensure a fair, impartial and comprehensive investigation."
Police said Krishna Reddy after his discharge was likely to approach the Attapur police to submit the electronic evidence he referred to in his alleged suicide note.
According to police sources, while the complainant has so far not submitted documentary evidence to substantiate her allegations, Krishna Reddy, in his alleged suicide note, claimed that he possessed videos and WhatsApp conversations stored on his mobile phone that supported his version. Investigators will examine the statements of both the complainant and the trainee officer, besides scrutinising the digital evidence produced by either side before drawing conclusions.
Meanwhile, officials from the women wing have also contacted the Attapur police and sought details of the case. Sources maintained that the inquiry was at a preliminary stage and all aspects of the allegations and the evidence submitted by both parties will be examined before any further legal action is initiated.
