Hyderabad: No vehicular movement was observed on Sunday along the temporarily closed stretch from Uppal towards Warangal, as construction of the elevated corridor between Uppal and Narapally is under way.

Commuters expressed concern over the inconvenience caused and demanded clarity on how long the closure would last. Preethi, who travels daily from Uppal to her workplace in Hanumakonda, said, “The roads in Uppal are already in poor condition and take extra time to cross. Now this closure forces us to go around and take U‑turns, making us late to offices.”

R. Krishna Ravi added, “There are many research offices on the route from Habsiguda to Uppal, but most officers live beyond Narapally. This closure will add to their travel time. Nowhere is the duration mentioned — we should know until when this will be.”
