Hyderabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to postpone the graduation exams scheduled to be held on May 28, as the date coincides with Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).

Posting his request on X, he noted that holding exams on the festival day would put students at a disadvantaged position. “I request CM Revanth Reddy and Chief Secretary to kindly postpone the BA, BCom, and BSc degree examinations conducted by Osmania University on 28 May,” he said.

The Hyderabad MP also listed out the name of the graduation course and examination subject which are scheduled on the day of festival. Business Statistics (BCom 4th Semester), Accounting Standards & Corporate Governance (BCom 6th Semester), Computer Science (Big Data) (BSc Honours 4th Semester), Optimization Techniques (BSc Honours 6th Semester), Biomedical Science (BSc 4th Semester), Mathematics (BA (CBCS) 6th Semester) and Social Work Methodology III (BSW (CBCS) 4th Semester). “Holding exams on Id day would put students at a disadvantage. I hope that these can be rescheduled to a suitable date,” he added.
