Telangana: Software Engineer Drowns In LMD
Pruthviraj went missing while they were playing in the water: Reports
KARIMNAGAR: A 29-year-old software engineer drowned in the Lower Manair Dam (LMD) in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
According to police, Pruthviraj, a native of Machilipatnam in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, worked as a software engineer with a private company in Hyderabad.
Pruthviraj and another person had come to Karimnagar to meet a friend who works as a faculty member at a private engineering college. The trio went to the LMD in the afternoon.
Pruthviraj went missing while they were playing in the water, following which his friends alerted the police. Police and fire department personnel launched a search and found him dead.
Police registered a case and began an investigation. The body was shifted to the Karimnagar district headquarters hospital for postmortem.
