Owaisi Urges Youth To Stay Away From Drugs
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi urged young people to stay away from drugs and offered support to those struggling with addiction, while also calling for action on murder cases and SIR notices.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi urged youth to stay away from drugs and said that he quit smoking with reason being his wife and his devotional path made him quit hookah. “If you are struggling with addiction, come to me, I will help you and take you to a de-addiction centre. Don’t hesitate to seek help -your life and future are precious,” he said.
He urged that people should not panic if they are given Special Intensive Revision (SIR) – 2026 notices.
“Those whose names have appeared under ‘anomalies,’ need not be afraid or worried. If you receive a notice, please do not panic or feel distressed,” he said addressing the grand Jalsa-e-Rahmatul-lil-Alameen gathering held at the AIMIM party headquarters in Darussalam.
“We are with you and will stand by you, throughout the process. Majlis workers are at your service and will extend every possible assistance and support,” he added.
Asaduddin also said that the state government should constitute a dedicated anti-murder squad to prevent and investigate murders in Hyderabad City. “Trials in murder cases should be completed within one year to ensure speedy justice,” he said.
Asaduddin also mentioned that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy should request the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court Aparesh Kumar Singh to consider establishing special courts for the speedy trial of murder cases.
