Hyderabad: A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a lodge in SR Nagar in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning.

According to preliminary reports, a couple had taken a room at the lodge in the name of C. Ganesh. The woman was found dead in the room on Tuesday morning.

Police found discrepancies in the woman's identity details. While her name was mentioned as Durga in Aadhaar records, hospital records identified her as Shirisha.

Following the incident, police registered a case and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death. They are also verifying her identity and examining the details provided while booking the lodge room.
