Woman Killed After Being Run Over by Tractor in Badangpet
The body was shifted to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Hyderabad: A woman was killed in a road accident near Badangpet under the Meerpet police limits on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Yenugu Prasanna Lakshmi, a resident of Nadargul village.
According to preliminary information, Prasanna Lakshmi was travelling on a scooty from the Badangpet Municipal Office towards Rajiv Gruhakalpa when an auto-rickshaw approached from the opposite direction. She applied sudden brakes, lost control of the scooty and fell onto the road.
At the same time, a tractor allegedly ran over her, causing severe head injuries. She died on the spot.
The body was shifted to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation based on the CCTV footage and other available evidence.
