HYDERABAD: Several runners took part in the NMDC Heritage Run‑2026 at Taramati Baradari on Sunday, celebrating fitness and awareness ahead of the 15th edition of the NMDC Hyderabad: The run inspired first‑time participants and motivated seasoned runners across four categories — 24K, 18K, 10K and 5K — providing an ideal platform to prepare for the marathon. It was flagged off by Krishna Kumar Thakur, director (Personnel), NMDC Limited, along with race director Rajesh Vetcha and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Thakur said the heritage run reflects NMDC’s vision of encouraging healthier lifestyles while strengthening community engagement through sports. The Hyderabad Marathon will be held on August 29 and 30, drawing thousands of runners from across India and abroad.
