MIM MLA Flags Civic Issues in GHMC

Hyderabad: AIMIM Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj on Monday raised sanitation and civic issues within the Greater Hyderabad limits, including sanitation, drinking water and streetlights. Despite these isuess, the government had expanded GHMC’s jurisdiction to the Outer Ring Road (ORR), he said while speaking during Zero Hour. With Ramzan approaching, he urged the government to resolve civic issues.

Congress Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy raised the issue of encroachments in several colonies in Turkayamjal. He said floodwater had entered residential localities during the rainy season, with constructions taking place in buffer zones and full tank level. He demanded that the government deploy HYDRAA to clear the encroachments.
