GHMC Sanitation Drive to Clean Foot Over Bridges

Hyderabad:The GHMC’s sanitation drive commenced on Monday with the focus being on cleaning up foot overnridges. GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the work at Narsingi, Sun City and Kismathpur.
Elsewhere, the Prajavani programme where residents can air grievances was held at some GHMC offices including at its new zones. With the GHMC commissioner and zonal heads at the standing committee meeting, the complaints were received by deputy commissioners and other staff.
“From next Monday, Prajavani will be held in a full fledged manner at all zonal offices under the supervision of zonal commissioners,” said a GHMC official.
GHMC’s Deputy Commissioner Suspended
Hyderabad:GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan suspended deputy commissioner V. Srinivasa Reddy for failing to report to his newly allotted Kavadiguda circle. Before the reshuffle of deputy commissioners, he was functioning from Musheerabad.
The suspension order will remain in force until further orders or until the conclusion of disciplinary proceedings, a statement said.
