Sircilla Furniture Godown Catches Fire, Worker Dies

Sircilla: A major fire broke out at a Mahalakshmi Furniture godown on Tuesday. According to reports, a worker identified as Mohammad Islam, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was charred to death in the incident.
Three other workers who were sleeping inside the godown were reportedly safe.
Preliminary reports suggest that furniture worth around Rs 80 lakh was gutted in the fire.
Locals who noticed heavy flames and thick smoke emanating from the godown alerted the police and fire personnel.
Three fire engines were pressed into service to bring the blaze under control. Police suspect that a short circuit may have caused the fire.
